Nissan Juke: Mileage and petrol dashboard gauge/display not showing

Nissan Juke (2014): While the main dashboard electronic display lights/come up as it should and all the other electrics are working fine, the small central dashboard display (showing mileage and fuel) doesn't come up/display, rather has just a faint orange/gold haze (suggesting it's getting some power and likely not the fuse).Can anyone help identify what the problem is and how to fix it?

this sounds like the problem of the fading radio display. Usually caused by poor connections with the ribbon connector. In the case of the radio display it can sometimes be solved by soldering the end connections of the tape but a new display complete with ribbon connector is only £48 UK. I'm guessing that the mileage, petrol etc display will be similar, ie unplug and replace but not sure. There are guys on Ebay who supply or repair radio displays so worth looking to see if they have your display or can repair
