I'm just about ready to order my first Juke (White Acenta Premium with red interior), and would like to know it there is an official 'DRL' option that my Nissan dealer will fit before I take delivery? I like the ones that fit in the grill between the fog lights and number plate.
Any help would be appreciated.
Littledobby ;)

PS I guess I'm going to have to come up with an original name for my new Juke!

Littledobby, there are now so many DRL's available on the market that it is a matter of choice and naturally cost. If you enter in the "Google Search" - DRL's you will find a lot of relevant information from the past. It does not make sense to go over it again. We chose the DRL's from Giacuzzo as I made contact with the owner when we ordered our Juke and these were fitted in 2011 now exactly two years ago with no problems. They are expensive but you pay for what you get and we liked the curved style perhaps you do not. So take a look at what is available in the Forum. You have a wide choice Giacuzzo - Hella, KSA Greece similiar to Giacuzzo but half the price, Devil Eyes, Phillips, Hella etc....
John_C, when I asked NCS about the DRL' s being fitted to new Jukes I was told only when a new model eg Series 2 comes out, for example the Nismo is a new special edition model and has DRL 's.
Hope these comments help - Dave

Littledobby, what DRL'S you fit normally has a few factors to take into Account : 1. Cost 2. Style 3. Reliability 4. Ease of Installation 5. No. of LED's / Brightness ......
What you have looked at have a reasonable cost at Halfords / Amazon. I also fitted some of of the lower cost DRL's on my Note from Devil Eyes but with 5 LED's they cost me here €35 in 2009 when there was not so many decent looking ones around. They do not look 1st Class but they have functioned with no problems.
We chose the Giacuzzo DRL's because they looked like they were designed for the Juke with the radial form and positioned near the extreme outside of the car and use Hella LED's, but they cost a lot. In the end it is a personnel

Hope this comments Helps you -Dave
