Well it seems car manufactures are moving a head with electric vehicles, Nissan with the leaf, Mini with the MINI E concept and the latest, Jaguar with the Jaguar C-X75

Who would genuinely be interested in running an electric car?

I know I for one we're not in a position to run an electric car, we only have 1 car, the infrastructure isn't there to refill, the range isn't that great and plus charge time takes a WHILE! Oh and also the thought of driving around with a boot load of battery acid doesn't really appeal to me ;)

What are your thoughts? would an electric version of the Juke float any one's boat?

If it worked out cheaper then yes, otherwise forget it.
I rarely do more than 20 miles before returning home, its our second car, so recharging is not so much of an issue for me.
In fact if my Juke gets delayed much more I may buy the Honda Jazz hybrid, but only because the auto is CVT rather than the nonsense the current Jazz has.
