I went to check on the position of my Juke Tekna CVTpremium AWD (4x4) because I was promised
a 5-6 week delivery. It is now nearly 8 weeks.
I was told that the snow in Sunderland had prevented deliveries at the moment, causing delays!

I thought "wait a minute, I understood the CVT AWD Tekna was built in Oppama,Japan??" So, there may be bad weather on the high seas but surely England´s climateis not involved?

The salesperson did say they thought the info. may not be totally correct and would check again.

Although here in beautiful Spain, things do seem to take their time!!

Can anyone enlighten me regarding where my car was made?

One more question, does anyone have the 2 character codes for country of origin for the Juke?

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

They may be made in Japan, but they could well be distributed via Sunderland. They may well also have local customisations carried out in Sunderland.

Good point thornton! I never really thought of that.

Aw shucks! I may have to wait even longer than anticipated if that is the case. The U.K. struggles a lot with cold and snowy weather, I´m afraid.

So now I am "fed up in Spain."
