Yup my Tekna is running 215/55/R17 Bridgestones. Gonna be a little more expensive than our previous 185/55/R15 on the Mazda:(

ebay is the place, buy your tyres and get them fitted locally, I pay around £75 each for Toyo Proxes, the local fitter charges me £6 or 7 each for fitting. the same place would charge £110 each for the same tyres supplied and fitted
obviously no good if you have a hole in one but for worn out ones its perfect they usually arrive next day

Toyo Proxes! That's what I used to run on my MINI, loved them but they were SO noisy1 loved how hard wearing they were too, which is usually the opposite for performance tyres!

yes they are noisy, but stick like the proverbial to a blanket, and remarkably good in the snow the pattern acts a little like a tractor tyre, my 520d coped well last winter
