Yup the JUKE won against the MINI in the AutoCar comparison too. TG Seemed to Prefer it as well...

I do like the MINI as well but IMHO it's just a little too expensive. Obviously I like the JUKE more seeing as I'm buying one tho! lol

Nice find in the OP.

Having read some of the US forums and comments on YouTube reviews, there's also an incredible amount of hostility. It seems that (most) Americans have very fixed ideas on what a car should look like and can't accept vehicles that are distinctive for fear of ridicule among their peers.

Amongst all the tired Nissan Joke and Puke jibes, very few can get past its looks. Having said that, those journalists who participated in the media event in Vancouver have reported that there was no shortage of admirers to examine the Juke up close when their convoy queued for the ferry.
I guess the eventual sales will determine whether those views reflect more widespread opinion across the pond or are just the sad vitriol of a few trolls.
