Hello, I have owned a 2015 Nissan Juke for about six months and the car has developed a squeaking noise, which can be heard while steering while parking. It doesn't seem to matter of I'm steering to the left or to the right and is noticeable only while parking. I have read that the car's power steering is done by a motor which is really expensive. So far there hasn't been any other noticeable problems with the steering and the car has done 87 000 km (54 000 miles). I would really appreciate if someone has had that issue before or knows what the problem might be.

Hi
If you look behind the pedals were the steering shaft exits the cabin into the engine bay there is a rubber grommet that seals around the shaft and this goes dry creating a squeak when turning the steering wheel, simply apply some lubricant between the steering shaft and the collar of the grommet and the squeak should go .
Hope this helps
