Look what came through the letterbox today. I wish it could have been full size, although I dont think it would fit somehow.
This is the 1:43 Scale model bought off Ebay and is available in Blue & Silver as well. This will adorn the top of my dashboard when I get the big one

Thanks for putting up the photo's for us to see.
Is it light reflection or does it have paint issues ?
Seeing it in model size it reminds me of the Spectrum saloon vehicle from Captain Scarlet.( Wait...isn't that the 60's tv series were the White colour is in charge ?
)
Finally, as a postie I'd like to say......."Bloody Ebayers and their parcels."

Hi there Dave, I wish my postman wasn't asked to deliver all that junk mail and flyers, that must play **** with a postman's back, I know it does with mine picking it all up to put straight in the bin. Not having a pop at you or other postmen but royal mail should just stick to addressed mail that has a stamp or a franking mark on it even if that means the cost of a stamp doubling. Tc

I agree Tc. Trouble is, all that Junk mail is a growing industry and Royal mail say they want a bigger chunk of it. It comes in seperate bundles and we have to make sure we deliver one of each to every household at some point during the week. There used to be a limit of 3 per week but that has risen to 10. It's officially called "door to doors" and we used to get paid anything from 1.67 pence upto 3p for the booklets. Now just about everbody gets a delivery supplement payment, whether or not they deliver them. If you opt out of this junk mail all you are opting out of is the unaddressed door to doors we deliver. You will still get junk mail sent through the post from other companies. We posties hate them. Even more now we don't get paid to deliver them.

It looks like a place that is closing down ... Nothing I can tell you on here .... I got a lift there in my Colleagues Passatt CC very nice.... I was at Y.D.C. on Wednesday on the way down a stone bounced up off the road (In the 50mph zone from Scotch Corner) and hit my windscreen. There is now a 2 foot long crack in the Windscreen. Telephoned Auto Glass and its been booked in for next Wednesday...Because of the Autowipers e.t.c.. they do not have any in stock.... Happy dayz....Not.

Typical, less than a month old and you get a crack in your Juke windscreen. I bet you haven't needed to replace a windscreen for years.

Know how you feel Gazza, I had a horrific stone chip, but mine hit the bonnet first before windscreen , probably a good job as it would gave shattered the screen judging by the damage to the bonnet, I was at 70 on mway

Yeah I can count myself lucky that it did not hit the paint work... Tell you what on the bright side there was a P.D.I. sticker in the right hand corner that I wanted to peel off but it must have been stick down with super glue so a new windscreen will get rid of the sticker....

Another Juke has their wing mirrors nicked... However Kats just wondering if I turn this black wheel thingy it makes my wheels go in a different direction. It must be because I chose Red..

Well since I got my Micro sized Juke, it seems to have created a lot of gossip about Postman Pat.
The paint job on the model is very good and the photos don't do it justice. those white flecks are from the tissue paper it was wrapped in inside the box. It is as good as any Corgi Model for quality. Slight light reflections and focusing to the rear of the photographs makes it look a bit blurry. I ordered it on Monday and it came yesterday (Thursday) from Hong Kong, so almost as good as UK Post First Class.
No doubt Corgi themselves will introduce the Juke model & the QQ, depending ontheir popularity in the real world. We shall have to see.
