Yep - 6p per mile although if you trade the car in as a part exchange there is no mileage penalty - the part exchange value will take this into account - I have always gone over my PCP mileage but never handed the car back _ i have always traded it in to pay my finance agreement off.YOu only pay the penalty if you hand the car back.Fee x

6p per mile on my (pending) contract.How does excess mileage affect the trade in value?Any rough figures.. like IDK £100 per 1K miles? more? less?Interestedly..... Chris

Hi ChrisThe dealers simply work out the trade in based on condition and current mileage --- they have no set scale but obviously the higher the mileage the less you'll get for the car...Fee
