Morning all,
I was wondering if anybody could help with a issue I’ve noticed recently with my wife’s 65 plate Juke (Acenta), when accelerating its making a strange noise, hard to explain but at first it sounded like wind was blowing against the wing mirror. Only seems to happen when accelerating, I was at Kwik fit yesterday getting pads changed and asked the guy there to drive it but he was unsure, said it sounded like it was coming from behind the dash.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? I just want to get it sorted as my wife drives it with our two young children, so if it’s a major fault I’d want it fixed.

thanks in advance 😊

Hi
I am actually having the same problem with my 15 plate jule teknna automatic. A strange rumbling noise on low acceleration specially when a go through a road bump. Took it to me mechanic and has send me to a gearbox specialist. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Hi,

I took it to a mechanic who claimed it had run out or very nearly run out of oil and was causing the engine to rattle. He serviced it and topped the oil up.
I can still hear it ever so slightly but it definitely isn’t as bad anymore.
who knows he could be telling me complete lies so let me know how you get on.

thanks,
Damien

Thank you . I will
So i decided not to take my car to this mechanic that suggested a new gearbox i definetly felt he was trying it with me. Interestingly i change my driving mode to sports mode and the noise has gone. Every time that i change to eco mode the vibration comes back. I am still wondering what this could be.
