Hi Mez
Glad you have got yours after a massive wait
.
We are worried know as we also are using Flear and Thomson Dunfermline, and not only that but we have ordered a CVT which will add to the wait.
They told us last week that we can expect delivery Feb/March!
Did they give any good reason for your delay?
</font>Hi Nippy, Mine was a
pre-order, the DiG-T didn't start rolling off the production line for the UK
market until November. Then production was a bit patchy because the insurance
industry instructed Nissan to upgrade the alarm. Jukes that had been built, had
to have the upgraded alarm retro-fitted. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

</font>Since then, the
biggest problem has been Nissan Distribution. They give random dates that
change ‘outward’, when you’re a few weeks away from expected delivery. It’s
really been a lottery as to when people have received their orders. The wait is
one thing, constant shuffling of delivery dates is a total wind up. I just kept
hanging on in there.
</font>I think the
underlying problem is that the Juke has become an overwhelming success, with
orders far exceeding expectations. And now there is a supply problem with the
CVT, reports say that Nissan have suspended CVT orders.

</font>This is our 2nd Nissan from F&T. Tale of two stories
really, first time, absolutely first class service and delivery was on time.
</font>
</font>This time, the sales guy was patronizing and talked over you, I reverted
to email for most of my communication. The week my Juke arrived, F&T changed
my finance agreement from the pre-contract agreement (the basis on which I
placed the order), without my consent! The sales guy had me practicing my
signature, over 50 times, before submitting to Nissan Finance.

</font>We were going for our 3rd Nissan, as we are looking to
replace the Qashqai, but sadly because of this latest experience, we will not be
placing another order with Nissan anytime soon.

</font>
</font>On the whole they have been pretty good. Just a few niggles. 1. We put our
Qashqai in for its 3rd service and MOT. Within a month (48 hrs
driving time) the front brake pads had to be changed because of “excessive wear”,
although, on the visual inspection they were checked and ticked green. The air
conditioning was also ticked off as working correctly / correct temperature,
when it hadn’t worked for some time. 2. Juke PDI... When I took delivery, the
coolant level was below minimum and they secured the mud flaps with 1 screw,
although they did fit the other screws when I questioned the fitting.
