A good idea is to first get the insurance group rating for your chosen Juke — list here:http://hwww.honestjohn.co.uk/insurance/nissan/juke.
Then visit the Thatcham insurance rating database:http://www.thatcham.org/abigrouprating/index.jsp?page=343. From there, select a similar vehicle in terms of engine, transmission and specification (which should be in the same group). Then ask for a quote based on your choice. This should give you some idea of what you'll be expected to pay for your Juke's insurance.
Bear in mind that insurance group classifications have changed: they are now rated 1–50 instead of 1–20, so make sure that you're comparing like-for-like. (E.g., a 1.6 Tekna Turbo is a new group 20, which under the old system is the same as an Aston Martin or Ferrari!)
I posted elsewhere on this subject - Sheilas Wheels/ESURE havent got the JUKE loaded on their system but they put me through to the underwriters who gave me quote based on a similarly graded vehicle ---- A Micra luxury (never heard of that model - I assume that would be a Micra N-TEC.
Basically, paying the same as my 59 plate 1.6 Acenta Qashqai...
From the Thatcham insurance group database (http://www.thatcham.org/abigrouprating/index.jsp?page=343), choose a 2010 Ford C-Max Style 2.0 automatic or Ford Galaxy Edge 2.0 TDCi automatic, both of which are group 20 (but have different security ratings, and I'm not sure which of the two is applicable to the Juke).
Hope that helps.
Gocompare have the Juke in their database. For Teckna 1.6DiG-T I have prices from Tesco and Admiral at about £303. I am 69yrs old with full no claim, no convictions. The Tekna I have on order is group 20.Most insurers say it is to early to quote - my delivery expected 21st October.
Waiting for a quote from my existing insurer - AxA.
