Apologies - hit wrong button, but hey got some responses all the same!

Anyroad, let's try again - evening all

Owner (proudish) of black 1.6 juke that I took ownership off at the end of Sept. Had an eyebrow raised due to the feel of the gears and thinking that I needed an extra gear. To the point of taking a demo out for a test drive.

Relieved to find the same issues detailed here and starting to feel a lot better about my purchase (traded in my Qashqai!)

hi lincolnshirejock, welcome to the forum as you can see we are a friendly bunch and enjoy the odd bit of banter, 5 speed boxes do seem to be a bit awkward at first though many have reported this eases up in time. I myself cant answer as i have a 6 speed that was fine from the off

I test-drove the petrol. Nearly put me off the car. It has no poke. My diesel is flexible/easy/goes like stink. But I haven't had petrol for years. Not a fan.
