Hi all new to this I've a 64 plate juke tekna 1.5 dci. On holiday down South west so a long way from home (from Newcastle) went out yesterday and both engine management lights came on 1 yellow and 1 red. Had to get RAC out who are telling me fuel injector 4 is faulty and do not drive it until sorted. hence having to get a piggy back home on Monday.
Anyone else with this problem is it an expensive fix or something that can be done DIY.? Having spoke to several people they say could be the DPF or several other things. Car was only serviced in November and only has 31000 miles on..
Anyone able to help please as been told dont rely on what the RAC says. Just want to be prepared for when we get home.
TIA

Morning, we picked up a used 2011 1.5 dci tekna Thursday with FSH and in with it was a receipt for a new fuel injector. The injector was £170 plus VAT which worked out to £204 then there is labour no price for that as had it all included with new water pump and cam belt. This was from Dec 2018 so prices shouldn’t be too different.
