Ok so since I have been a member I have heard allsorts of dealer excuses for delays
the latest being
Alloy wheels are in short supply and holdding up deliveries

I cant remember them all so if you have had an excuse given to you or you can remember one list it below

CVT is definitely one. I hadn't heard about the alloys. But it MUST be true that they underestimated demand.

My delivery date was put back due to:
demand outstripping supply

and

then they couldnt locate my car in distribution

another one car missed its slot on the transporter so now got to wait until they have another load for this area.

Originally it was because we had ordered the top spec model, so it would take much longer to build, then the lack of CVT boxes.

They added a month-and-a-half to my lead time because someone had inadvertently “back-ordered” it.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />
Whatever that means.
It was the right way round when I picked it up.
