Decided to take the turbo for a weekend in Lincoln. It's about 150 miles each way from Lytham, mainly A and B roads through the peak district. We took the 'old' turbo (4500 miles) as it has the satnav which my new Diesel sadly lacks.

Anyway, steady progress in normal mode with a bit of sport resulted in 34.3mpg which I thought was very impressive. Take the difference in fuel prices into account and it's not far off the frankly disappointing 40.3mpg I'm getting from my Diesel. Hopefully the second tank full will help to rebalance things.

It would be good if you took the diesel on the same run and see what the MPG came back at then.
