we've noticed that when we lift off the pedal to brake the revs go down to about 1500 rpm for a few secs(tickover 800rpm) makes for slippy down changes !!!
If you are coming to a halt and wack the clutch in the symptom is 1500rpm for a few seconds and then it goes down to a normal tickover.
I would expect this when it is on the choke but this is all the time - anybody else noticerevvyitis ???????

I believe a couple of people have commented on this in the past I cannot say which thread it was on but it has definately been mention before
I think their is an issue with 02 sensor that requires a reset on some DIG-T models

This is normal operation for all modern Nissans, it is to aid with smoother low speed driving and gear changing and is not a fault.

Thank you - I still don't like it though I learnt to change gear and not stall cars a long time ago
