New car can't park it stressing out. Wish I could take it back ?

Just got my 65 Juke tekna yesterday. Previously had micra and pixo so it's a bit of a jump in size. Thought I wanted a bigger car now inhave it I hate it. I'm such a confident driver and Parker normally but I just can't park the Juke I'm so stressed and nervous about it. I feel visionis really poor I can't see where the car ends ? Am I just not used to the size and will get used to it? Any hints on tips on how to park this bus??

Do you mean ordinary parking like in a car park, or parallel parking?

Do you have the rear view camera? I am a rubbish parker anyway but that helps a lot when backing out. I almost never reverse into a parking space unless I have no alternative, but that's just me, not the car.

Some folks have had front and rear parking sensors put on - so that's a possible solution.

You get used to the size difference eventually, I had a loan Micra whilst waiting for my Juke (8 months waiting) and it seemed so small, so getting the Juke was great.

Find places to park that are virtually empty, like the furthest spot in a supermarket, and just practice (you could wear a mask and a hat if you don't want to be recognised).

Yeh just normal idiot parking I just feel u need so much room to turn in. I have the cameras just not yet used to using them it's just so big and you can't Sw either the end at the front or the back I feel I'm gonna hit rhings ;(. It's rediculous I'm such a confident driver and driver company cars mostly fiesta and focus but this car has got my nervous and completely panaming about parking it's stopping me going places I'm an idiot. Just back from gym and hubby was there so managed that and home bargains cameras are actually really good think I'm just losing confidence but I'll force myself to donut and get used to the size

Just take your time, don't worry about what other drivers think, if you need to re-adjust your line/angle then do so. They are lovely cars, it's worth taking the time to get your confidence back.

Hi Lorraine, I just picked up my Juke on Monday after driving a Corsa for 7 years. I took almost 5 minutes parking in a multi-storey as I'm not used to the size yet and am a bit nervous so don't worry you're not alone.

Aww when u are used to a smaller car it can take a bit of getting used to I think the visibility isn't great on the car and it makes spacial awareness a bit harder I'm getting iced to it though. Some people it just takes more time I'm sorry that frustrates people but if someone asks for advice on something it really isn't that helpful to slag them off xx
